Tuesday WOD 20090728

With a continuously running clock do one 135 pound Clean and Jerk the first minute, two 135 pound Clean and Jerks the second minute, three 135 pound Clean and Jerks the third minute… continuing as long as you are able.

Use as many sets each minute as needed.

CFOZ version

Two minutes of cardio (your choice), samson stretch, CFWU x 3 (x 2 if in first two weeks of WODs)

Do the above with a pvc pipe or broomstick.  For the cleans use squat cleans and split jerks for the jerks.  Concentrate on your form.

    5 minutes ( need to work on form )

    Thanks for posting videos. I practiced form for another 15 minutes on power clean, clean drop, and split jerks.

    5 HSPU – to 2 Abmats (strict)
    10 Pistols (alternating legs) – assisted by holding onto a bar
    15 Pull-ups

    Score: 6 + pistols/pull-ups/1 HSPU

    Due to space and equipment constraints, some of us had to change the order of the exercises. I started on the pistols and finished with the pull-ups. I was aiming for seven rounds, but slowed down significantly on the sixth round of pull-ups from a torn hand. This was my first time doing Mary.
